The assignment was to interview a classmate on the topic of Valentines day. I interviewed Brenda who was very nice and engaging. I wish we had more time to prepare questioning because I only had enough for like a 4 minute interview. I also realized that it was hard not to ask important questions about the holiday, because she seemed a little uncomfortable disclosing personal information about her recently ex-boyfriend. This is a fine line that interviewers have to walk between asking the right questions for their research and asking questions that do not cause any mental stress on their participants.
